Located off of M28 on the East side of Bergland. Operatated by the Friends of the Bergland Cultural & Heritage Center (a non-profit organization), the Bergland Cultural & Heritage Center is located in the Historic Bergland Ranger Station. The center is open part-time during the summer season Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11:00am to 3:00pm EST. Each year the Friends group host one community event, offering a glimpse into local area history, flora and fauna, recreation opportunities and local artisans. Area information, a walking trail, native plant garden, and picnic tables are available. The Bergland Cultural & Heritage Center is part of the Western UP Heritage Trail Network system. This is a must stop if and when you are in Bergland.
